Sullishak
Ownership and Expansion Ideas
Ownership Ideas
The first half of this
two-part page describes how ownership of Sullishak
has passed through the Sullivan family since Orma
Sullivan purchased the property in the mid-1940s. For earlier history,
please refer to the ideas in the Sullishak
History section of the Sullishak
website.

When Orma
Sullivan died, ownership passed to her son, J. Wesley Sullivan, and his
wife, Elsie Sullivan. Sometime in the 1980s, they gave ownership of the
cabin to their four children, Steve, Nancy, Dave, and Bill. Elsie
Sullivan died in 1993 from Alzheimer's disease, and Wes Sullivan died
in November 2007.
In late December 2007,
Steve Sullivan gave his share of the Sullishak
properties to Dave and Barbara Sullivan. In fall 2008, Bill Sullivan
gave his 25-percent share of Sullishak
to his two children, Ian and Karen Sullivan. About the same time, Nancy
Sullivan gave her share to her two children, Ana and Mick Synodis.
In February 2009, all six
owners agreed to split ownership of the property into two pieces. Dave
and Barbara became sole owners of the Cabin Lot. Mick Synodis,
Ana Synodis,
Ian Sullivan and Karen Sullivan became sole owners of the Vacant Lot.
Expansion Plans
In 2012 we plan on adding
a new family room and bathroom behind the existing cabin. This picture
shows how the new floor plan will look.

Thus, the new addition
will be 19 by 20 feet. Most of the area will be devoted to a large
master bedroom, and smaller areas will form a new bathroom and closets.
Our plan is to prepare the foundations in the
2011-2012 wintertime with
framing, siding and roofing happening in the spring and summer of 2012.
The best way to
understand the plans in detail is to look at BeachCabinPlan.pdf.
